Day Ninety-Three: Mardi Gras on Main and Woodstock Concerts in the Park Summer Series

March 1 is  Mardi Gras on Main
The 5th annual celebration of Mardi Gras in Downtown Woodstock. Event will feature a Mardi Gras parade at 8 p.m. At end of parade a King & Queen of Mardi Gras on Main will be crowned.

The parade route will be the following: the parade will enter Main Street from the parking lot of Ameris Bank, then proceed north up Main Street into the heart of Downtown Woodstock. The parade will turn onto East Main Street at the intersection of Main Street and Arnold Mill Road. The parade will then go south on East Main Street. The parade will end at the mini park that is located between PURE and CANYONS.

Live music on the sidewalks during the event add to the festive feel. The Downtown restaurants and stores will have Mardi Gras themed activities going on at their businesses during the event.

Main Street Woodstock is proud to have a Friday Night Live series T-Shirt for sale this year (see the attached photo). Will have a table set up on sidewalk selling the shirt. One for $12, two for $20.

Spend the first Friday of every month in Downtown Woodstock and enjoy the many restaurants and stores that the area has to offer as the Downtown Merchants stay open late, 6 to 9 p.m. and celebrate with a themed downtown wide festival.

For each Friday Night Live theme participating Downtown Merchants will have activities going on at their stores and throughout the Downtown area related to the theme of the month.
